Omid Hajili was the former professor of the Music Department at Iran Broadcasting and now is the professor of the Art and Architecture Department at Azad University. He is a professional trumpet player and has appeared on many music albums.
His first album, Allegro was a mixture of musical styles with a South American influence. It was released in December 2008 by Iran Gam. Hajili is very interested in Latin, funk and rhythmic genres as well as other cultural styles.
He has 10 years experience playing with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, Tehran Philharmonic Orchestra, Seda-o Sima Symphony Orchestra, and others. He has also collaborated with many musicians as a composer and editor. He also has been the orchestra leader of some pop music groups. He has held many concerts throughout Iran and other countries like Italy, Netherlands, Cyprus, UAE and soon to be in, Canada and more European countries.
